This past fall our team was able to get a lot of racing in! Thanks to good weather and friendly teams, we were able to attend two regattas, and host two scrimmages. At the regattas we attended, those being Head of the Overpeck and Head of the Schuylkill, many of our rowers did quite well, with Enya Gilroy and Yaara Ronen leading the pack once again. At the Overpeck regatta, the girls won a silver medal in the Women’s Youth Varsity 4x with Emma Deljanin and Naomi Ronen, Yaara’s little sister, and then went on to win another silver medal in the Women’s Youth Varsity 2x. Our masters joined in on the fun at the Schuylkill regatta, with our youth rower Connor Bohan and his dad Justin winning a silver medal in the Father/Sons 2x race, and Marco Sharif and Ivan Rudolph-Shabinsky taking home bronze in the Senior Masters 2x. Some great racing all around from our rowers, and we look forward to seeing what they can do in the future!
